Anybody else run through a spell of life with just simple bad luck on Christmas/Christmas Eve for some reason. For us it's been sickness/stomach viruses 3 of last 4 years. Always on Christmas Eve for some reason.

3 years ago, year son was born, her sister and Dad's family got severe Flu on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day cancelled.

2 years ago, wife and I get bad stomach virus in bed after putting out Santa, 2 am or so. Dad's family had slept over downstairs, left early that morning, Christmas Day cancelled. Had to even put santa away, boy was still 18 mos at the time, and do it a couple days later
My mom came and got him that morning, kept him till next afternoon, then she got it the next day.

Last year all was well, fun time was had by all.

This year, 3 year old son makes crazy noises in bed at 2am. He's vomiting profusely and has filled his bed with leftovers, lol. After, midnight shower, moved to our bed, boom, fills ours, Christmas Day cancelled.

I caught a ton of red lights Thursday.

Made up for it yesterday though. Almost all green.

Sounds like your kid is a little pig. I had cousins whose kids would eat until they puked at gatherings. Numerous times.

I have watched a lot of forensic files episodes - so I am more of less an expert in connecting dots like this.

Your wife is slowly poisoning you and your loved ones.

Merry Christmas!

I took a swing at my ole man one Christmas. Never dreamed that it would be his last.

Too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence

Mine used to tell me this all the time when I was like 16 "Son, you might occasionally want to kick my arse at your age, but you won't be able to. By the time you are able to, you won't want to anymore".

I almost missed Christmas with my wife and family this year because it dumped snow out of no where after the forecast had been calling for rain for a week. 4 low got me to our property and then I had to walk 3/4 of a mile up a mountain in jeans and blowing snow to make it to the house I’d call that bad luck.

Worth it.

Sounds like you all need to learn proper cooking techniques and standards.

Yes, my 92 year old grandfather fell Christmas morning and is in the hospital with a broken arm, nose, jaw. My cousin had a water pipe burst in his house and ruined their Christmas.

Thanks, probably needed to hear that. Guess I'll have to look into poisoning techniques more deeply.

One of our kids has the Rona and we found that out today. She was symptom free yesterday. My dad was over here for Christmas too. Hopefully he didn't get it.

Apparently ending the year on the same note as the beginning. Having vehicle towed to the shop. Started it Christmas day. Coolant light came on. Checked the tank and it's empty. Filled it with coolant and it's not holding fluid. Also not leaking anywhere obvious. Had multiple coolant leaks fixed earlier this year and spent over $1k. Awesome.

I had to run my paw in law to the ER on Christmas Eve a couple years back for prostate stuffs.

Took a few hours of prime Christmas Story watching time and it all worked out, BUT I did get to see the dregs of humanity shopping at Walgreen's at 11:30 on Christmas Eve.

Those fricking people.
