Need some help from the OT. 3 months ago I was moving our stuff from the old house to the new house. Few days later I started having some pain the the middle of my spine. It's a dull achy pain. There is a specific spot on the spine in the T3-T6 area that I can press on and it feels like a bruise. The first week or so, there were a few days where my right foot tingled very mildy but it has since gone away. But the pain in that area of my back still lingers so figured it's time to figure out what is actually going on.

TL;DR
I am looking for recommendations on doctors to go get checked out with. I went to my PCP and they took an x-ray and said everything looked fine but I feel that isn't true.

TIA

ETA: I am 30

Same happened to me when I was moving about a year ago. I have flare ups every few months, but my X-rays were normal. Really bad muscle strain. It goes away, but sucks when I have a flare up. Muscle relaxers and Advil for me. Not sure if a spine Dr will do anything unless there is clear structural damage. You may need a PT and lose some weight.

Find a good PT and get evaluated and a few treatments and go from there

Yes. I was freaking out. My knee and foot would go numb. My PCP told me it is common with swelling in the region.

I wouldn't do pt until having an MRI

They can hurt you/cause further damage if they don't know what they're working with

I don't live there so can't recommend anyone. But you can see your regular doctor again and ask for one since it's still bothering you

ETA can hurt. Not can't

I worked for a neurosurgeon for a couple years and severe thoracic injuries are very very uncommon

I only remember seeing one traumatic herniated thoracic area disc in that time

So hopefully it's just inflammation
