Just another sign of POA.

The bachelor party is not about the groom, it's about his groomsmen and their enjoyment.

Trying to plan a camping trip for a bachelor party in August or September (Groom's request.)

Groom's request? Sounds more like it was the bride's idea.

Cabin Camping,

Not camping, just staying in a room that isn't in the city. Like saying buying fish from a fish market is fishing.

Only way to turn this into a legitimate bachelor party is with the old standard....Hoookers and blow.

needs to be inexpensive.

However, to meet the above requirement, and probably more to the liking of the group, just get a shitload of lube.

Percy Quinn if the lake is filled back up and they have a gold course that is inexpensive. If they haven't filled up the lake, go to Natchez State Park, big lake over there.

I would look into Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville. We went there for my brother's bachelor party. We were tent camping, but they've got cabins and group lodges to rent and you're right on Pontchartrain for fishing. Plus you can cross the causeway and be in NOLA for a night if you wanted to do that too.
