Radio just said a storm drain or drain of some sorts came loose from overnight construction. Thus causing issues.

The cover on a catch basin was off. Did a heck of a job to the rims, tires and suspensions of the vehicles that hit the opening.
Lucky that it wasn't worse than it was. Could have resulted in a major pileup.

an drain cover became dislodged between Walker and Satsuma, causing drivers to bottom out in the drain in the left lane. The left lane is/was closed to fix that and clear the cars.

I think it might have been the cover to a drain that came loose.
