Austin or Nashville?

Which one takes the cake as a better overall place to live?
Both towns are similar in terms of population, downtown size, music scene, outdoorsy options, tech jobs, rapid-growth, large corporations moving in, etc
Austin has changed for the worse in many ways post-2000 but still has a lot to offer.
Many New Orleans/SE Louisiana folks swear that Nashville is the closest 'cultural' experience to being in Louisiana sans the cuisine. Nashville has a much more 'historic' feel to it.

I'm moving out of Austin next month. It's a great city, but it's overrated. It's growing way too fast and the traffic is pretty bad. Plus the 40-year-olds in coffee shops trying to build their own apps get annoying after a while.

Nashville. Big city with southern charm. I've been here 5 years and love it.

I loved Nashville when I worked there. I actually lived in Franklin. I thinking it is still trending up, while Austin has gotten over saturated. I like the surrounding areas of Nashville a lot more.

Nashville is the tits. I can't stand traffic, so I'm out a little, but it's a nice city and the weather beats the brakes off Austin.

Austin has a lot more sunshine days while Nashville has a lot-more days with a completely gray sky.

Austin has way more days of 95 deg + and Nashville has 4 seasons.
