Start at 1:45. First part doesn't show much, besides initially passing up the truck. Then plummets off a small bridge.

This is a busy intersection of a highway. Cars crossing had to have been going at least 40 mph, probably 50. Somehow, nobody died.

Dude needs to pull up to the car in front of him, and the person in the grey car to the right was on the phone I guarantee.

I'll bet Trevor was driving, I would love to hear his commentary during the incident.

Where did that car end up?

edit: Nevermind. They hit that poll down there.

Saved by a light pole or they would have surely been crushed at the bottom of the ravine

Yeah, that's pretty amazing. According to the article, there were no serious injuries:

Dash cams, eventually 360 cams, are game changers.

Also, love how the little black car spins with minimal damage and apparently only minor injuries.

That downhill (Jester) is my shortcut home.

2222 is stupid dangerous.

Look on the article where it says a motorcyclist was killed in an unrelated crash later that same day.

It's the main artery between central Austin and the hills/lake to the west but it isn't divided, graded or shouldered like a major highway is - it's little better than a neighborhood road. It's steep, lacks a central divider, has a lot of turns.

The icing on the cake is despite being a major artery there is no grade separation and there are multiple stoplights for at-grade intersections that are triggered by just one person from the side street pulling up. So you'll have traffic going 50 coming downhill around a corner and all of a sudden, just because someone pulled up at a side street, the light goes yellow.

To add insult to injury, because it's the way from central Austin to the hills, at night there are always drunks on it, coming from downtown.
