I'm 28, own a house, married, have a steady job. I'm in no way mature. What age do you finally reach maturity? There's obviously many factors that go into this.

I'm 28, own a home and two rentals, not married and have a steady job.

I still get white girl wasted on the weekends and tug on my little weiner every time I see a decent pair of tits.

You have to define mature. I guarantee the Baby Boomers definition of mature and mine(36 years old) are quite different.

I think you need to check yourself. To me, maturity isn't being a stick in the mud who hates fart jokes and listens to classical music. Maturity is having your shite together. Cooking your own meals, scheduling your own dentist appointments, paying your own bills. That's maturity. You can be mature and still stay up until 1am on a weeknight doing bong rips and playing overwatch.

Maturity is reached when one experiences a hardship that defines and shapes their character beyond fart jokes and tits/arse/pussy chasing.

I started chilling out with the 2 am binge drinking at bars around 26. That shite just isn't fun anymore. I'd rather drink at home or at a friend's house.

Same here. I'm 27 now and up until last year I was going out until 2am about 3-4 times a week. Dragging arse at work. I'm not sure what clicked, but these days I just hang out at home and I'm usually in bed by 9pm. Whether that makes me mature or not, I'm not sure. I suppose each person is different. And there's no consensus on what constitutes "mature."

I'm 75. I think I went through maturity for a few years in my late 30s or early 40s, but I got over it.
