I know the op posted a joke, but my mother had a cocker spaniel that ate at least 2 Hershey kisses everyday and had a few chocolate chip cookies every week. This is back before it was common knowlegdge that chocolate was toxic to dogs.
That dog lived to be 19 years old. No shite. Vet was amazed it was still alive when it was brought in.
