King was under investigation in May 2013 after his 1-month-old son, Aiden King, was taken to a local hospital with burns from scalding hot water. In November 2013, he was arrested after his then 6-month-old son died while in his care.
King was charged with second degree murder and second degree cruelty to juveniles. He, who was out on bond, is currently awaiting trial.
