Mostly yes.

My dad's dead now, but we both went to LSU so there's that. He followed the NFL before the Saints existed and was a Cowboys fan, but quit rooting for them when they fired Tom Landry. He was always a bandwagon Saints fan and was pretty happy to see them win a title. He never gave a damn about MLB or the NBA.

Nope, he's a lifelong Vol.

We are both thoroughly disappointed fans of MN pro teams though.

My dad couldn't care less about sports. My mom was the sports fan and we like the same teams.

Neither of my parents like sports.

My dad does like sailing though. We really had a good time watching America's Cup racing.

Baseball, basketball, football- Yes. M dad raised me a fan of rival teams in hostile territory, so we had that to bond over.

My dad was not a big fan of hockey, but he was from Michigan so he sided with the Red Wings. I hate the Red Wings. However we were a basketball household so hockey was never on when I was growing up.

He never got into soccer; I did.

My dad was a Tulane grad. He took me to a Tulane-LSU football game in 1960 to make me a GW fan. Tigers won the game though; I've been an LSU fan ever since.

Sorry, Dad. R.I.P. just the same.

Father died at 17, he was a fan of beer and that's it. On the other hand my sons are both fans of LSU like me and my oldest son is a Saints fan like me but my youngest (thanks to Madden04) is a Falcon fan.

Growing up near Bossier City, my Dad and I watched Dallas Cowboys games together (now they show the Saints instead of Dallas, or both).

We didn't watch much college ball until I went to LSU. Of course LSU is our favorite team now.

As for other sports, who cares!

Both huge LSU fans of every sport. I'm a bigger saints and pels fan than him but he definitely roots for them.

Being from Baton Rouge, no pro baseball team had our allegiance. We both like Cubs and Red Sox because we have traveled to Wrigley and Fenway together several times and appreciate the history.

Both hate Yankees, Braves, and Astros.

I'm more of an NFL, NBA, and MLB guy. I can watch college football but college baseball and basketball are very sloppy and painful to watch.

My dad thinks pro sports suck and college is where it's at. He's also never lived outside of La so there is that factor as well.
