No, just more “settling during shipping” due to internal combustion engines. EV’s will eliminate the problem.

A bag of lays chips that retail at like 4.99 only costs like .75 cents to make. Frito lay makes bank everyday. Last I heard is that Doritos are the second most popular dry food behind Campbell soup. Multiply that across the country and it equals hundreds of millions every year.

They’re definitely less. Some bags don’t even feel close to what they should feel.

It isn't just food. Toothpaste, deodorant, shampoos, etc. A lot of things have gotten smaller and gone up in price.

Not sure but cereal boxes have 100% gotten smaller. Nobody can convince me otherwise.

A "Value Size" box is what a normal one used to be 10 years ago. The regular cereal box size is a joke. You can get maybe 4 bowls of cereal out of it.

Excuse the rant. Father of a kid who loves cereal and goes through them like you would not believe.

I mean seriously what the frick is going on? They could make the bags half the size just to let us know how bad they are fricking us.

yes, by about half of what was in them 10 years ago

but the bag full of air is for a reason, its to be a shock absorber so the chips dont break and get crushed. so its two-fold, they put less chips, but the air used to protect them from breaking makes it look like the bags are only 1/4 full, because they are.

the only chips i buy today are doritos and only the family size, never the individual size bags with only 4-5 chips in then

Bought some plantain chips from heb the other day. Opened the bag it was 80% air, and barely any chips in it. Never again.

Gardettos snack mix is the only one that gives you a sufficient amount of goodies in the bag. Everything else rips you off
