Are there any Must Do's while in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area?

Headed there now for the Saints game this weekend. We are golfing the next two days, catching a baseball game on Friday night, but Saturday is pretty open until the LSU game that night. Anyone have any recs for fun daytime activities? Thanks in advance.

You're on the right track. Honestly, for such a huge city there's not a lot to do in the PHX area but golf is surely one of them. The courses in Scottsdale alone are enough to fill a two week vacation. There's also excellent hiking and rock scrambling if you don't mind the heat and that's your thing.

Old town Scottsdale. Guys coming in on Friday night don't really golf, so we were trying to stay away from that. I hear the Maya day club is nice..

If you're into architecture, check out Taliesin West.
My favorite meal out there was probably at El Barrio Cafe. Really really good.

Avoid the sniper. If you are into hiking/climbing there is Camelback.
I forget what area it is in but there used to be a guy that rented ATV's to ride in the desert. It is close.

I've been to that area 4 times and love it, although I think I'd have a problem with not seeing regular rainfalls it if came to living there.
If you have a car, consider driving up to Sedona. It's not that far to go and come back in the same day. Per Google, it's only 115 miles.
Also, look at some of the area maps. You can drive out toward Globe on highway 60 and loop back to Phoenix by way of Roosevelt Lake and Dam. It's a pretty drive.
You don't have to hike up Camelback Mt. There's a road that will take you up there so you can see the entire valley.

One item on my bucket list is to visit a home game by one of the most weirdly-named college teams in existence. Just because.
