I feel like the OT baws are very mad at the world. More so than usual.

Most here lean conservative and probably have relatively normal family lives. As I recall there are studies verifying both as a reliable indicator vs. the remainder of the populace.

Way less. Ignorance is bliss and OT baws are smarter than average.

I avoid mass gatherings with the general public at all costs. (movies, sporting events, concerts, festivals, etc.)

It’s a matter of being able to see a rapid decline rapidly approaching but remaining aware that one is still relatively much better off than he might be and therefore being able to enjoy the present while hoping for the future.

I haven’t reached that level of wisdom.

OT is where baws come to vent and poke fun and air questionable opinion. Don’t take it personal, Nancy.

It's a reflection of our society. And probably paints a rosier picture than what's actually going on out there.

the rehab threads are wild

I've never known a single person that went to rehab, but it seems like 25% of the OT has been in for drugs or alcohol

More happy as far as public forums. You ever been on Twitter or Reddit? Real life vs public forums will always be tough to compare. People generally act more civil when they’re standing in front of you.

I just peeked in on the Home & Garden Board - maybe for my first time ever - and it's very tranquil over there. Just a bunch of dudes who care about their lawns.
