Corma diamant?

I will check these out. Just realized when I shaved tonight I am running low on blades

Side question, how often do you change blades?

I have no problem shaving my face with single blade disposable razors.

I always bought gilette Mach whatever but they would go dull so quick, switched to Harry's... that shite was so sharp at first, cut me like crazy with my same shaving style... rocking sharp 10x longer with gilette.

Moral.... not spending 20$ on shitty gilette razors anymore

They are in the bedroom bathroom. Coworker sleeping so I can't say until morning.

I change mine about every 3 shaves.

The real advantage that Gillette and the like have is the dexterity of the blade. They can get the weird spots on your face (like right under your nose, along your chin line, etc.) better than the others. Still, Harry's and DSC are about 97% as good as Gillette, so I won't be buying Gillette until the start dropping prices.

Speaking of Gillette, I noticed the other day they now offer the service DSC offers (ordering online and having them ship blades to you every month).

Anyway, I am currently using Schick, but I am on my last blade and might end up going back to DSC because, at least for me, DSC is better than Schick.

I shave with Gillette's 4 bladed razors right after I get out of the shower. Never going back to single bladed razors.

Gillette Pro-glide. Change blades about every 90-100 days, shaving 6 out of 7 days per week.

I recently made the switch to feather safety blades and using a badger brush with the puck style soap. I'm forever converted.

I switched to Harry's about three months ago after having used Gillette faithfully for like sixteen years, and I have not been disappointed. I don't like the shave of Harry's quite as much as Gillette, but it's about 95% as good, their cream and aftershave are really nice (much better than the Gillette crap), and it's like half or less the price. No going back until Gillette actually confronts their market reality.

I use single razors. Buy a pack of 100 for $11 from Amazon. Shave 4/7 days a week and change my blade once a week.

I use a double edge. I think that more width in the blade than I already have is too hard to shave up close in the nostrils.

I do better with a single-blade safety razor than with multiple-blade ones.

Except on my head. I have to use one of the multi-blade razors for that.

No. The reasons they decided to put more blades is purely economics and not ergonomics. They can charge more for more blades.

Safety Razor here as well. Just have to make 2 passes, one with the grain and one against. Pair that with a good Badger Brush and Taylor of Old Bond Street Cream.

It's a safety razor. You can find them at any Walmart, or online for a little better quality. Im not sure where else, because I'm a poor. Buy the handle that lasts forever and a pack of blades now and then, and it saves $ in the long run, and I get a better shave. Obviously, I can't speak for everyone. Just my experience.

This. Have a Merkur and use Persona blades...get the pack of 100 blades for $10. Last damn near two years. Better shave plus save a shitton of money? Win-win.

I think two is the most that really makes a difference. Diminishing returns after that.

I've been using a straight razor for about 4 months now and don't see myself ever changing. It's nice to be able to hack off a week's worth of negligence in one pass.
