I've never worked for a company even close to that size....don't know if I'd like it.

Prayers sent...I worked in West & Central Africa & suck doesn't even begin to describe it.

i used to work for a drilling contractor here in houston, and I used to think they were arse backwards.

until i got here.

then again, it's my arse that could be backwards, i guess.

No I didn't have time to see that. But if I end up moving to Swako I will (that's where I was looking).

I visited during Xmas. Definitely the strangest Xmas holiday I've ever experienced.

Been to Abidjan and Accra because the firm I used to work for helped divest some state run businesses. Both were great places. Sure, 3rd world but not any worse than Queens, NY.

It's funny you mention that. One of the guys working on the project was a banker from London who kept talking about going surfing during the weekend. I just googled it and that was where he went.

Worst of the non-wartime African cities I've been to is Nairobi or Nairobbery as they call it.
