I don't work at one, but I did see John Daly drinking Miller Lite and smoking Marlboro Reds at Tunica one night.

Group of guys lost their friend Doug. Then their friend Allan won 100k on blackjack to do a money exchange to get Doug back. Found out that the naked Chinese guy they swapped the money with had the wrong Doug.

Also think they had a tiger in their room...

I worked at Lauberge in Lake Charles for a couple of years. You got really used to dealing with scumbags.

One dude ran out naked with security and cops chasing him. Dude was quick as all hell.

I had to work at the Baton Rouge location while they were short staffed for a couple of weeks. Somebody fell off the balcony in the atrium and went splat. They broke a bunch of bones but IRRC they lived.

ETA: it was a drunk person leaning on the railing and somehow he flipped over it. I remember hearing the thud and some screams.

My friend's mom was dealer at the Belle when the Kings of Comedy came to town. She said Steve Harvey was a dick. Bernie Mac was awesome and got behind the table and started dealing blackjack basically entertaining everyone.

My only hope is that there are a couple sequels to that story.

I didn’t work at one but I did audit a casino in bossier city one time. Part of our work was sitting with the security team for a night (12-6 am) and record their procedures. Saw a lady half naked in the lobby casting spells on people

The security guys saw all kinds of crazy shite

i stayed at lauberge for my birthday, ate there the night before at the steakhouse, stayed at the hotel, whole deal.

woke up the next morning hungover to a note from my gf that said she was at the tables or whatever and to come meet her.

i get myself together and head downstairs, they check my ID and say they cant let me in cause its expired. it expired that day. my bday. manager walks over and basically tells me tough shite, doesnt matter i stayed there blah blah. text my gf and say to come out, she comes to the front and says shes up 600 bucks so its ok if we leave.

manager changes his tune, says i can play, probably the most satisfying "frick you." ive ever handed out.

Guy on my wife’s side of the family is a dealer. Been dealing all kinds of games for probably 20 years. He hates it. Said almost everyone is drunk and he’s constantly having to run tape back because somebody will accuse him of not paying out right or something. He also said he absolutely does not tell people how to play because it just ain’t worth it. If someone says hit me on 17 he will throw a card out immediately.

When I was in college I dealt for a year and a half. One day, some old tall black guy was playing at the $25 BJ table which was the high limit at the time. It was just him playing. Every time get got busted which was lot, he gave me a quiet crazy look like he wanted to kill me. Very entitled attitude. I later found out it was Collis Temple, the first black to play bball for LSU but a certified scumbag.

bro it was like something out of a movie. the range of emotions i went thru in like a 4 minute span is something id wanna replay over and over if we can do that after we die

eta just realized youre doubting me and thats fine, but i put it on joe burrows heisman thats exactly what happened. 600 bucks isnt gonna break em, but it was enough to sway that particular decision for the manager or floor guy or ID bitch (whatever you wanna call em) lol
