Just curious because I can see both sides, especially if you have someone elderly living with you at home.

The cesspool that is Twitter continues to think this is completely unreasonable. I just wanted to see who on here is comfortable taking that risk since the stats say harm to children from this virus is close to zero

Yes. Gun violence is out of control. More security is needed.

If you are hesitant to send your kids back to school because of the virus, you are an idiot.

Don't have kids, but if I did, I definitely would. Why the frick wouldn't I? My kids need to learn and get an education to be whatever they want. Sorry I'm not a pussy.

Apparently only three people aren't a pussy and 20 are. Pretty disappointed in yall.

Isn't the transmission from kids to adults low? I guess if you are a parent that is poor in health you may not want your kids in school then.

Comfortable.... my kids need school worse than anything at this point.. they need the structure they’ve had for years, they need the social interaction, they need other adults disciplining them and they need the normalcy.

I'm trying to convince them to just keep the little shits at the school for the duration of the school year.

This is the only thing I could see making someone hesitant. But even in that scenario, you have to do what's best for your kids first and foremost and that's going back to school.

Your kid has better chance getting run over by a car on the way to school than getting sick from Covid.

A few months ago I decided to remove myself from said cesspool. I would recommend it, personally.

Kids already are behind with the amount of video games and computers they sit behind so much of the day. Add that 100%, instead of some other kid interaction at school, and this society will have zero chance of survival in 8-10 years.

Edit: put them back in school, and make them clean their hands more throughout the day.

Risk for kids is slim.

Risk that schools become hubs for this seems the real issue. You have a bunch of low symptom human germ bombs that are hard to teach good behavior.

It’ll be interesting.

A little young to be acting like that if the 87 is a birth year.

My child not having a routine, and being secluded from her friends is way more harmful than a virus that we know has little to no impact on children.
