Not the whole jab or people dying stuff. I mean more on knowing who the true friends were. Feels like most of the superficial interactions and bad relationships died off and only the real people remained. Now I go back to office and it’s back to the superficial “how was your weekend? Let’s get to business” interactions

The whole 6 feet apart and limiting the number of people going into stores deal? No thanks.

It's almost scary how blindly most of the population trusted everything big daddy gubment said when most of it is now proven to be either outright lies or completely overblown.

Being paid to be at home spending time with my wife and kids, in what was wonderful weather for South Louisiana that Spring, was really nice.

The circumstances sucked, but I have fond memories of all the fun we had everyday.

I was honestly so busy in those days…I was neglecting my true friends. Covid made it worse.

Working to change that now.

So you like people standing a foot away from you in stores?

Personally, I was doing some really good, fulfilling work during that period.

Generally, in the limited capacity that, like after 9/11, most people seemed to make an effort to be a bit kinder to one another.

No it was terrible.

I couldn't even get a proper plate of Waffle House.

I remember working every day and making far less money than everyone being paid to sit at home.

I'm still salty about that

I miss being at home with my family and getting out in the mountains to hike all the time.

I have fond memories of it because of our circumstance.

We never got COVID. I bet we actually did, but we never got sick if we happened to contract it.

Our days were spent in Boise riding bikes, cooking, watching TV, hanging out. We had a small backyard on a residential street. I imagine it would have been awful if we were in an apartment. My wife was still working from home, so we had income. I was in school, so nothing really changed for me.

I know it wasn't like that for everyone. Especially for people who had kids. But it was awesome for us.

The beginning? No definitely not, becuase we didn't actually know anything at the time. Despite what all the billy badasses wll say, there was a part of that first couple days/weeks that were kinda alarming.

But once things settled in and you realized that it wasn't that big a deal, hell yeah I enjoyed that.

-Was off work (paid) for months
-Watched a shitton of TV shows I'd been wanting to forever
-Grew my beard out for the first time in my life since I didn't have to worry abotu appearances
-No traffic
-No crowds anywhere

Granted there were some parts that sucked too, but overlal it wasn't bad at all.

I’m not a big fan of spending time with most people, but Covid sucked. People lost their damn minds. Like watching mass psychosis.

It really is absurd. My kids missed out on class trips, 8th grade graduation... So strange that people are nostalgic for the panic that everyone had.

I do miss the Honkus thread. I remember always taking a look for updates on his status. Legend status.
