yet again, still don't see where people are handing over millions for bitcoins, so If you can't cash out on a large scale like that it's no different than Play money

Except that you can cash out

Tax free and illegal transactions. It is probably larger than the US currency. This is one of many e-currencies. I believe the Mexican cartels use bitcoin for their business.

I'm a commodities trader (natural gas) and in my shop almost every trader trades bitcoin in their personal accounts. None are drug dealers.

So, you launder the money for the drug dealers?

Honest question, how do you do that. Say I had $100,000 in bitcoin. What are the exact steps that I would take to turn that into cash, and how long would it take?

basically it's like selling shares of stock, you put in a number that you're willing to sell for and how much and then the magic the gathering trading card site locks you out and tells you theres been a problem and then you don't have any bitcoin anymore

Wiki and the guy from Denver who "worked at Wendy's" (can't remember his name) were entertaining on the MB.

Still cannot walk in a gas station and buy a pack of gum with it. Not sure how the money board folks were wrong on this? Yet anyways.

Doesn't sound like a millionaire. I recall him saying he didn't buy any but may have been gifted a few.

Go on a crypto exchange like Gemini.
You can get ethereum or bitcoin there in less than 30 minutes from your wallet.
If you sell at the highest bid, its instant cash in your gemini account
You can withdraw into your bank account in 3 business days.
I have a daily withdraw limit of 100k

So besides the wait for the bank transaction, the other process can be done in less than an hour. Faster depending on a few things

Some of you should really educate yourselves before you make ignorant comments like this.

Best investment I've ever made. My only regret is not buying as much as I possibly could get back then but I can't complain. Bitcoin market cap passed up PayPal today and it will only keep going up.
