I like all the people that are complaining about moonlight winning and they actually haven't even seen the movie. Probably haven't seen La La Land either. Yet still have an opinion on which one should win.

I'd complain on basis of how big of, and supposed importance with prestigious etc...

That they don't have their act together on their biggest announcement.

If you haven't heard of either you need to get your head out of your cousins twat, you inbred a-hole

Never heard of either also...then again I haven't heard of most movies made after the year 2000 due to the fact that I became preoccupied with this thing called my life...it calls me to work, raise my children, give my time and attention to family, get outdoors and shoot, fish, hike, etc....leaves very little time to sit in front of TV and be exposed to commercials and movie trailers...I used to love to go to the movies but priorities change and besides most of what I hear from friends is that most of it is shite nowadays.

The last best picture movie I saw in a theater was silence of the lambs.

Last time I went to a theater was some movie that had a goldeneye promo before, and some democrats on the front row started snickering. My brother stood up and invited them outside (they shut up, but you'd get shot these days).

I'm sure the sodomites are having a high-ho time in Hollywood tonight. frick 'em.

I'm still in shock with how hot Amy Adams was. I'm not the kind of person to be star struck, but if I saw her in that dress IRL I think I might get a little weird.

6 upvotes, no downvotes, and you don't post a pic? Is this bizarro OT?

You mean to tell me that you are not a 30+ hipster who refers to his dog as his child? You don't put on skinny jeans and groom a half beard and take your kid (I mean Border Collie) to a coffee shop to fish for compliments from other emasculated men? Are you saying that you could not go to your favorite urban coffee shop with your little canine sidekick this morning and discuss the merits of Moonlight vs La La Land with another animals parent? Wow! What a failure.

I admittedly haven't seen moonlight, and after reading the plot synopsis, I never will, but no one should be surprised it won best picture.

There is not a snowballs chance in hell a musicial about two white people was going to beat the coming of age story of a gay, black, inner city son of a crackhead prostitute.

That sounds like the lefty equivalent of that made up country song David Allen Cole did about trains and prison and Grandma, etc.

Do you have to announce this in every thread about a movie, actor, or musician? No one gives a shite that you haven't heard of it. Do you want a cookie for being an out of touch 50 year old wearing black leather and K mart women's jeans?

Gay black inner city child movie

Versus

A movie about Hollywood making a movie (we love us!)

I see how they had a hard time choosing.

I've got 2 kids, own a business, hunt, fish, cook, read obsessively, etc Ich habe sogar Deutsch gelernt. Somehow I still magically had time to take my wife to see La La Land. It is a goal of mine to cut out more TV this year though.

How is there more than one envelope with the correct answer? Seems stupid.
