I was thinking of doing the one in Abita springs. birthday is coming up and friends probably wont want to do anything or drink so I wanted to do some fun on own. it was either this or drive a sports car on the NOLA Motorsports track.
Which would you rather do for your 22nd birthday?
Drive a fast car for 3 laps or skydive?

I was looking into doing it in lumberton. Then I read someone died doing it there a few years ago. I'll wait until I'm old and washed up to skydive

Didn't do Gold Coast but did a tandem jump with Blue Skies.
It's a fricking rush that I highly recommend.

Twice at Skydive N'awlins in Slidell. Loved it! Try hang gliding too, if you can. Longer experience and quite a rush as well.

Don't wait. Do it now, that way, when you get hooked after your tandem and decide to take the AFF course for your A license, you'll heal quicker... just in case you don't do everything exactly as taught on your first solo.
Even then though.. it's worth the pain.

That's next. Chattanooga has a place to do that and looks like a lot of fun.

Here in FL. Ultralite pulls you up to the altitude you pick. I thought it was just as intense as skydiving.

I would pick the race car driving and it is not even close...

Yup, towed up, then they cut the cord. The instructor making it soar up and then dive straight down was incredible. Plus, the view in TN would be way better than the nothingness of the South Central FL wasteland.

I went with Gold Coast many years ago. They were cool, we had a great time. Do it before you have kids...jic.
