We weren't due for another 1,000 year flood for 999.5 years.

Over like 3 different events in maybe a two week period. 8 inches was the latest on Subday.

I just passed through there and water is up to the interstate all the way back to Welsh. Could tell because of darkness but a lot of buildings have water to the doors along the interstate.

My connection there is alive and well. Although im sure those near the river and in Riveroaks are getting F'ed in the A right now.

I drove through the Evangeline Parish/Mamou area a bunch on Monday and many homes and roads were flooded.
Had to be terrible to flood in August, get things fixed up, then flood again. Then the rain today...
