I have Window World coming out to give me an estimate tomorrow. Not too sure how much to expect.

That's not too reassuring.

I know my wife will want to get some with wood grain on the interior in an effort to match the windowsills and trim.

What are folks' experiences with the "$189 window"?

Sportsman Glass

Joe Howell

225-571-4285

He is the owner. Good ol boy who worked for a major glass company for 20 years then started his own company. It's just him. His prices are pretty great. At least get a quote from him. Won't cost you anything. He did 6 of my windows when we remodeled. I cant remember how much we paid but it was hundreds less than anyone else

I called the Glass Guru and he said he doesn't replace windows, only "restores" them. He said mine needed to be replaced and he doesn't do that. Just a heads up to the OP.

Absolutely.

I've known Joe a long time. He is a guy who gets it right. If he doesn't, he will make it right. Hard to find people like him anymore.

I've referred him to several family members and friends and they have all been pleased as well.
