We put Landstar on the "Forever Hold" line

We don't load those guys.

I'm talking about being an agent for Landstar, not brokering a load to them.

J/K it's pretty good with ACME they pay the truck well but you have to be pretty good for them to keep you around or jeep you loaded, I miss the oilfield bad, you could knock out 6k a week and never drive over 1500 Mikes

Nah it's pretty much dead, there's still some work out there but they have pretty much stacked all the rigs for the time being. I'm just glad we have many different trailers so we aren't stuck hauling one type of freight.

I'm a silent partner in the terminal, I own 2 Petes that I have drivers in and 3 hotshot trucks (1 tons ) with drivers in them, I myself am a superintendent for a mid sized GC. The trucking stuff is a lucrative side business. I used to drive as an independent o/o but it just got to tough to compete with the aforementioned cheap bastards, so I leased onto ACME and after about a year they wanted to put a terminal in the area where I used to live and me and a friend put up the cash and opened it. I backed off after it got to where it runs itself with just one person doing the dispatching and picking the loads off the board.
