Anyone have a female friend who became a stripper for a short period of time?

I have a female friend, late 20's, no pics, who has found herself in a bit of a bind for cash and has decided to go dance at one of the local BR establishments (I didn't ask which one). She will do well...nice body and great personality. Apparently she did this about 7-8 years ago for like a week, made some quick cash, then quit cold turkey...and now she is going to try it again. We have known each other for 6 years or so and it has been strictly platonic.
My questions are this, for those of you who have found yourselves in this situation:
1) Did you go see the friend dance?
2) Did you view the friend differently after she told you what she was doing?
3) How did the whole situation work out?
Being a straight male, of course I would love to see my female friend basically nude. Like Ron White said: "Once you have seen one of them naked, you want to see the rest of them naked". But I don't want to make it potentially awkward for her, either. What would the OT do?

I'd go see her. I ran into a cousin of mine stripping and it was awkward, but this chick isn't related and she has no shame, so frick it.

Had two.
One actually DID put herself through nursing school and is now a PA.
the other was an ex prior to her stripping days.
Saw both at the club
thought nothing of it

I know a guy who sent his wife off to strip. He sent her far out of town though to prevent their friends from giving them grief about it.
Eventually they got divorced.

Not really a close friend but back in the mid-90's I ran into a stripper in B'ham that I went to church with when we were kids. That was a fun night.

You sound pretty beta that hopes one day to not be friend zoned. That hope will depress you when you see any man that has a $20 get more than you have even tho you've invested so much time praying one day you'll exceed the friend zone. Then you'll get more depressed when you find out she's banging the flat bill door guy and you're still in the friend zone. Then she'll get knocked up by some random tatted up guy she met as a customer and fell for and end up marrying him. You'll still go to the wedding as a friend as there is no more hope you'll ever get out of the friend zone while realizing you've wasted several years comforting this whore and got nothing in return.
