I'm a stomach sleeper and in my old age it's causing me upper back and neck pain. I am trying like hell to sleep on my back but I can't make it through the night. I'm dying here - dying - can't take take it much more. Lying here dreading another night's sleep.
I can fall asleep on my back, but after a couple of hours I'm on my my stomach.

Oh, and I've bought my pillow and 3 other super slim pillows.

Have you tried not being a little bitch?

No pillow under your head and the pillow directly under your knees is Preferably your rucksack that you'll carry on your morning run

I had a leg injury that made it necessary to sleep flat on my back for a couple of months. It was misery not being able to thrash around like I usually do.

Well, while I wouldn't exactly use the phrase "little bitch" I am a woman. But since the phrase "little bitch" has been so closely associated with your previous posts; I will let it slide comrade!!

About 20 years ago when sleeping on my stomach would wake my up in about an hour with horrible lower back pain.

Got an MRI, and I have spinal stenosis. It is hereditary, thanks Mom.

Had the same problem back during the summer, and had surgery again two weeks ago on it... I was on my back for a month and a half or so the first time and for about 8 or 9 days this time. It's hell... I still have to sleep with a pillow between my knees right now. Thank God my grandmother is still alive to make me silk pillow cases.

I've been trying to sleep on my back for weeks as well. I can go to sleep fine but it's a very very light sleep where I'm half dreaming and half awake.

Seriously put a pillow under your knees. It will make you much more comfortable and able to rest on your back

God dammit If this is the mysterious fix all I've been looking for. I have never been able to sleep on my back. Starfish on my stomach or curled in a ball on my side. Never on my back. Gonna have to try it tonight

It happens in life, things change. Some men get big bellies and can't sleep on them anymore

The pillow under your knees allows your legs to relax and feel at a more resting position and eases the restlessness and provides that "stretch" comfort people seek while on their stomach.

A big reason people prefer to sleep on their stomachs is lack of hip and groin flexibility and being able to move your legs farther apart on your stomach provides that relaxed feeling your legs otherwise don't get.

Pillow under your knees baw

I promise it works. It won't be as comfortable as your stomach the first few nights maybe even week but it will get you to sleep faster and keep you on your back better.

If bushmaster checks in he will confirm they teach you this in certain MOSes such as his and mine

What can also help you be more comfortable in this position is hip flexor stretching and groin stretching. They will help your body be in a more natural position through daily life and be more comfortable laying flat on your back vs jacked up to the sky on pillows on your stomach

Pillow under knees and at first it may help to have your feet together with your legs spread out if that makes sense

Like making a diamond between crotch and feet
