Anyone had something 3D printed?

I am considering having one of our industrial vessels 3D printed to use as a visual at conferences and meetings. Have no experience in this field, and all I currently have is 2D cad drawings. Pretty simple though, just a main barrel with a few exterior pipes.
Know of anyone in the Houston area?
Price range for a 1-2 foot tall model?

You need a 3D model of the item for it to be printed. I'm looking at buying one now but there are size limitations. 1 foot might be doable but 2 feet will probably be outside current printer capabilities. You could have it printe in pieces if you need it bigger and assemble.
