^^^ For the benefit of those who don't have their head up their arse, and who'd actually like to learn a thing or two about the REALITIES of circ.
Why are you so butt hurt about it? What caused your intense interest in other men's penises?
I am neither for or against it. My wife will decide which way to go if we have a boy. I had it done to me and I don't have issue nor care about the issue.

I'd rather never known what it was like to have a foreskin, than to go through that at 50+ yrs old. Nope nope nope nope.
Right, because most of the ~85% of the world's males have to go through this procedure.
Why not perform preventative appendectomies on infants while we're at it?... And since 1/8 women will get breast cancer......

More gay shaming.
What a tired, pathetic tactic.

Shouldn't the owner of said foreskin have a say in the matter?
Why should parents have the right to force UNNECESSARY/COSMETIC surgical procedures on their infants?
Reverse the genders, FFS! Would you agree to a father deciding that his baby daughter should get her labia trimmed simply because he doesn't like the look of meat curtains?

You seem like the care-free, happy-go-lucky type who never gets upset about anything. Like a mushroom who buys all the drinks. A fungi to be around. Here's to you.

It's not even gay shaming. Why do you care what other men have had done to their penises? Or you can keep deflecting.

Parents make decisions for their infants all the time about virtually every aspect of their life. It's called being a parent. This is a very weak argument.

Just wrap a chicken neck skin on it for a day and you will change your mind!

Answer the question... What interest do you have in other men's penises? Why do you care about it? It clearly doesn't effect us the way you think it does, so why do you care so much?

We are the parents. We choose how to raise the child according to our customs and traditions. Who are you to tell us that our culture/traditions are wrong?
My culture/tradition is not do this to females, I would probably have a different opinion of it if I was raised in that culture/tradition. You would also have a different opinion if you were raised in another culture. That's not my child to say if they should do it or not do it.

VERY WEAK argument!
(One more time) Reverse the genders: Would you agree to a father deciding that his baby daughter should get her labia trimmed simply because he doesn't like the look of meat curtains? Because THAT's the kind of thing YOU'RE arguing for!

A far FAR better question would be why do YOU have an obvious interest in perpetuating the genital mutilation of male infants.
Answer THAT question... (if you can).

We are the parents. We choose how to raise the child according to our customs and traditions.
So you're okay with Muslims circ'ing their girls?... 'Cause that too is a "tradition."
(Isn't it interesting though that the US legal system doesn't allow for that particular cultural "tradition.")

I am not doing it as I have not had that choice and may not have that choice if my wife has a girl. We should find out next week.
You are still not answering the question. What interest to you is it? Why do you care about a topic that has very little impact to you or the people it is done to?

There is a lot of things Muslims do that I am not ok with because it is not my customs or traditions. I don't believe in a religion and I think it does a lot more harm than good in a lot of cases, but I am not ok with taking people's freedoms away to get rid of the bad eggs. I am definitely not ok with my country attacking other countries to prevent female circumcisions or forcing any countries to change their laws.

That's not an answer.

Because forced male genital mutilation is a core issue in the Men's Right Movement.
I've also never lost a family member to drunk driving. That doesn't prevent me from taking a strong stance against it.

but I am not ok with taking people's freedoms away
But you're okay with taking away the right of a boy to choose whether he wants to grow up with intact genitals?
Yep, that makes sense.

You do realize that a majority of circs in the US are performed on gentiles, right?
