My asphalt driveway was failing in several spots. I looked into what I could do myself but in end just replaced the whole driveway with concrete. But I was looking at using bags of "cold asphalt " from Lowe's / Home depot to fix some of the bad spots. If its not too big maybe try that?

its very unnatural for all of you
ETA: PS: I'm honored to be lumped in with those two names. Kafka is pretty sharp and Lucas does OK as well. I would be pissed if I were Kafka by your association.

I have a rental property with a shitty asphalt drive. I tow my trailer to the asphalt plant and have them drop a ton of hot mix on the trailer. Then my help shovels it into the pot holes. If the asphalt plant dude drops to much at once it may blow out the tires on your trailer

If you're going to use cold patch, spread it in a 1" layer and compact it well, repeat until it's just a little above the surrounding asphalt because it will settle some.
