I think I could totally kick arse in teen jeopardy and not get too embarrassed on college jeopardy...

I was on last week. Did ok, but lost on Final Jeopardy. Great experience, but will always regret missing the last one.

No but I tried out for Win Ben Steins Money when I was 21. Took the written test with like 1000 people and made the top 100 for the show tryouts. The tryouts were on the set and they asked a group of 3 us 2 questions, like Jeopardy, and I buzzed in first and got them both. Before the show they told us to be animated for TV and I think I tried to hard to do that so maybe thats why they didn't pick me but honestly I think it was my age, most people were 35-40.

I auditioned for college jeopardy back in the early 00s. Made the final 3 where you then simulate a game and destroyed the other 2 clowns....I wait, never heard anything, then I'm watching College Jeopardy a few months later and there's Kyle from TAMU who I had destroyed several months earlier. He went on to win the tournament, $50,000 and a car.
I met his sister at a bar several years later and got my revenge.

A similar thing happened to me with some clown from Emory.

Yes I was.
Filmed in July of '99
Turned out to be the first show of that season.
It aired sometime in September of that year.
I was winning for most of the game, but lost on final jeopardy.
The category was Historic Artifacts
The answer was- In 1996 it was returned to Scotland after an absence of 700 years...

I was once. I was way ahead going into Final Jeopardy. Then they didn't accept my answer: "Who are three people who have never been in my kitchen?"
