Anyone else's home insurance premium going up every year?

I haven't filed a claim since Gustav but the premiums for my home and rental properties have been going up each year. What the hell man!

Yep thats what happens

Im convinced the ins agents quote low to get your business and then as time goes on they get their standard commission and or the rates go up.

Last year my home owners went up 320 dollars, this year to my surprise it went down 320, with added coverage. I was giddy

Eta: after the increase last year I called a few other companies to see if I could find cheaper and the quotes were significantly higher. Maybe my current company somehow saw i was shopping around idk
