If you are backed up right before the state line it is because of the 10/12/59 interchange work.

Should have taken old hwy 90 baw.

The total backup is about 14 miles. Once you hit the LA border you have 2-3 miles and then it is smooth sailing.

Good luck

There is also a wreck about 1.75 miles east of the state line.

Does it screw up traffic east bound as well? I'm heading that way next weekend.

It was an epic shite show yesterday.

Along with a big wreck on 10W east of Mobile. And 10E was closed west of Mobile because of a wreck.

Southern trash can't drive.

Text I got an hour ago said this:

quote:

@NS_Traffic: Congestion remains on I-10 West at Mile Marker 268 (east of the I-10/12/59) due to construction work in the area. Expect 14 mile delays.

Last Sunday it got as bad as a 16 mile back up later in the afternoon.

I had to get off the interstate near the state line and take back roads to Slidell; traffic was ridiculous.

It does slow it down a little but nothing major.

Def wish I would have checked the traffic reports. We have been in it for ab 16 miles. Truly ridiculous, little did I know it was LA that had the lane shut down. Doesn't surprise me tho. I could kill the MFer who thought it was a good idea to do this in the month of June.
