anybody into RC helicopters as a hobby?

I need a new hobby that doesn't lead to ER visits, broken bones, stitches etc.

Helicopters could get you in the ER with stitches. Hence the rotating blades on top.

Are drones easier to master? Is there an entry level model that is decent quality without breaking the bank?

I'd recommend stamp collecting, but paper cuts...

I fly copters, quads, and fixed wings. Any and all can mess up your day with an ER visit.
