On airline highway? Just heard they laid everyone off. Sucks if true.

Yeah. Sounds like they ran K-Tek into the ground after they acquired them. Tough economic times tho for the instrumentation industry.

That sucks. Oilfield companies are constantly laying off these days. You only here about the big layoffs in the media. The rest of the layoffs are happening all the time.

My son works at ABB. Fortunately for him he put in his notice a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday was his last day and his boss took him to lunch and told him that his timing was perfect because they are consolidating with a location in Pennsylvania. They can keep their jobs but have to move to Pennsylvania other wise they are SOL.

We just did some work for them on some new equipment they bought at their new facility off Airline.
Hopefully this is a misunderstanding of them moving locations.

I can confirm their employees found out yesterday that they are combining operations and moving to Penn.
