Found out earlier in my 20s that I needed a prescription, but chose not to get one because I didn’t want to be known as someone who needed medication.

I’ve always been able to function decently without it, but I’ve taken it a couple times without a script and I function so much better. Anyone here take it regularly? Does it help you focus?

Adderall can be a gateway drug. Do not take.

Two coworkers take it

It is immediately noticeable when they take it and I mean that in the best way possible

Should have gotten it when you had the chance, very few psychiatrists or just regular doctors will give an adult prescription for amphetamine salts.

I don’t take the prescription kind. I take the illegal kind. The ropes you shoot from that stuff are amazing.

I am. I don’t take it often at all. It makes me feel weird and messes with my sleep and appetite.

Sometimes I'm convinced I need it but have never tried it. I wonder how much more productive I would be with a prescription but like you, I don't want to be known as someone who needs it.

Are you talking about large ejaculation volume?

Yes, almost a troubling amount.

It's legal speed. All depends on your dosage.

Think of it like nose candy; you feel that rush w/o the drip and it lasts much longer and you jsut want to get shite done.

Just don't take too much or you will start to hallucinate past day 3 (assuming you barely sleep and over do it).

I dont have a prescription, however have taken out of curiosity. Definitely helps with focus and productivity, can get much more work done, learning is easier, and in a better mood

Taking adderall is fun until the crash. The crash is awful. The only way to not crash is to take a shite ton regularly to build a tolerance. It might make you take up other drugs that will help you get to sleep. It helps with work but honestly it’s not worth it.

I used to have a prescription. Yes it helps you focus. It makes you feel invincible and you will do amazing work.

But, you will build a tolerance for it and need more and more. If you are like me with an addictive personality, that is a major downside as you will run through the whole prescription in 2 weeks. Going the other 2 weeks without the drug sucks. Not physical withdrawal symptoms like opioids or alcohol, but psychological symptoms where you get super depressed because your brain has been riding the Adderall high.

Like with most things in life, moderation is the key.

Are you a stay-at-home mom? I hear moms love this stuff.

Very big problem over here in CF. 30 something moms on pep pills, xanax and wine to help them get through the day in the most difficult job of all, being a mother.

You should start off easy, drink some G-Fuel before going straight for the prescription crack for white ladies.

You're gonna luv the way it makes you feel.

I've never taken it but probably could have done much better in school if I had. Based on comments over the years, it sounds similar to the effect of taking a Pre-Workout.

About once/week, I'll take a Pre-Workout around 11am, then hit the gym during lunch hour, then I always have the most productive afternoon of the week when I return to office.

Yes and absolutely.

I take the XRs. Used to take Vyvanse, and prefer it, but changed insurance and Vyvanse is simply out of control from a pricing standpoint.
