Anybody having trouble with flu going around.

I live in coushatta and seems like the whole town has this crap. Five people in house hold and sick like hell. Called Dr and they said calling in meds won't work for this crap. Shreveport hospitals are over with this. Way worse than COVID. 84 year old mom can't get out of bed. Dr said drunk fluids and let it run it's course.

Shreveport here and it went around schools around Thanksgiving. We’ve avoided it so far, but 3 of 4 of us got a virus where we ran fever for 24-36 hours. Cough and congestion, not too much achy feeling. We each got it 2 weeks apart. No tests, so I’m sure it was Covid

Yes, missed a business trip this past weekend. Stayed home and now everyone that went to the event is sick. Started Thursday morning vomiting, just now starting to feel better.

shite is brutal. High fever, cough, congestion.

Not the flu, but the sinus infection to end all sinus infections. Started 2.5 weeks ago. Went to doc and got steroid and rocefin shot plus oral antibiotics. All symptoms went down except non stop drainage down into lungs and horrible wheezing cough. Had to get another steroid and rocefin shot yesterday along with Z pack, inhaler and bromfed. Now I’m not coughing, but can’t sleep.
PSA: did you know there is a lidocaine shortage? 2 steroid shots and 2 rocefin shots with no diluting with lidocaine hurts worse than anything I’ve ever felt from an injection. And I’ve had to do pre-surgery Lovenox shots in the abdomen.

Whole family was sick during thanksgiving with flu like symptoms. Fever,cough, sore throats, body aches etc...So yeah i'd say it's going around for sure.
