I finally gave in after many years and finally decided to get XM Radio. I did the 6 months for $30 to try and see if I like it, then I turn on my car to try it out, and I don't even fricking have it. I don't know if I have to do some sort of other additional activation or if it's just not working in my car. Has anyone else encountered this same issue?

I remember it taking around a day or so for it to start working once activated.

I just canceled them. Got tired of unpredictable billing for something I pretty much never use.

Took mine about a day to catch the signal when I signed up last week.

Did you sign up online? You have to use your code on channel 1 to register. It should work almost instantly from my experience

never had XM, but sirius was instant, once you put in the numbers on their page. Signal was sent asap, and boom, Howard 100

They are the same company now but I agree, I never had to wait when activating a radio

I did sign up online, but I never used the code they gave me on channel 1 because they never asked for it when I registered.

Give them a call, it's been a few years but I remember them having good customer service. They can resend the signal to your vehicle which might be the case
