They're wintering in the sunny south. Unfortunately people give them money so they hang around like feral cats.

It's an epidemic in New Orleans right now. They're everywhere. Some of them don't even try to look like they're in need. There's a guy under the Pontchartrain Exp that begs in clean button up polo shirts and khakis. Dude looks like he's on his lunch break from a tech company.

Since the company I work for slashed bonus checks a few years ago, I might need to do this to fund my outdoor kitchen project

I almost forgot what beggars looked like. They haven't existed since the Bush administration. Looks like they're back after 8 years now that the hope and change era is over.

Damn republicans putting people out on the streets!

Next time you're at the red light at Siegen and I10, look between the 4' concrete walls that separate the lanes and notice the pile of trash they leave behind. Absolutely disgusting.

College Drive and Corporate are full of them. Saw two bike cops stop next to some beggars and didn't do a got damn thing. at least run them off or make them feel uncomfortable.
