TSA seems to have been solved. All the check points are now installed. Picked my wife up Sunday and security was probably 5 minutes.

And now they want to add guest passes to allow non-flyers to go through security to eat and shop, so just adding unnecessary people to the security lines and parking/shuttle systems.

Picked up coworker yesterday at 9am. No issues. Brought coworker back at 10:30 this morning. No issues. They even commented on how much nicer and smoother things went in the new terminal.

Here as I type. Only complaint is the shuttle to/from the original rental car center is ridiculous.

Ahh, well that doesn't sound bad. Heard they were going to be limited number of passes per day but hadn't heard what the daily limit would be

flew out last Friday morning. TSA line was 10-15 min max and that was with only about 10-11 lanes open. Parked on the 6th level in long term garage. The "spots available" system hasn't been turned on yet, apparently it's in "learning" mode, but they did have some signs up on the lower levels saying "this level is full".

Walked past Uber/Lyft lines, maybe 10-15 people waiting on Fri and hardly any Sunday morning when we returned.

To get off I-10 at Loyola took one red light cycle, and once we went through it, all green lights until we were on property. Hardly any traffic at all.

Didn't check bags so can't say about that.

Flew out of Concourse A which has nothing at all in it but it's only a couple of gates. Just need to get whatever you need before that.

Had brunch at Leah's Kitchen. Absolute disaster. I would say they are working out the kinks, and maybe that's part of it, but "kinks" don't include staff that stand around doing nothing while your drink glass is empty, and a manager that seemed to care less. Which surprised me because I overheard someone saying the manager was a Chase family member. Food wasn't very good and was very slow. Not sure how much of this is controlled by the actual restaurant itself (i.e. the Chase family) as it seemed like all of the employees were employees of Delaware North.

50 per weekday, 100 per weekend day. But, only can be used after 11 am.

Is the old part of the airport open or is that shutdown?

Last week flying out MSY was one of the more seamless and enjoyable departures from any airport in a really long time.

No, it is closed, obviously.

Parts of it will be used for the shipping companies.

It was fine. Needs more parking but the old garages have a shuttle service that is working great.

Security was easy when I went thru (2 days after they opened) but the arrivals area was a mess with people waiting for cabs and Uber.

Flew out Monday and returned yesterday. Absolutely stunning facility. The main ticketing area feels like you are boarding a shuttle to Mars. Had no problems at 3pm getting off at Loyola or getting through security. Parked in short term with no issues. I do think they need to clean the floors often because they tend to show scuff marks due to light color, but that's a nitpick.

Flew out yesterday and I have to say, what an absolute AMAZING airport. Parked, went through security within :30. The food choices are top notch in there now. TSA was FAST, incredibly fast
