for some reason if I bring a lady friend over it goes nuts and tries to peck on her, but most of the time it will peck on pretty much anything. I don't cage him, because that's cruel.

I have him trained pretty well. He does go outside sometimes, but never on his own.

He is usually pretty mellow, until he starts pecking.

Well I didn't read the first part. I thought it was a nerdy bird thread.

But if I caught one I'd def keep it.

He is photoshy. I have been asked for pics of him before, only after much coaxing is he comfy enough to have his pic taken.

he's really not even hiding the fact very well. I'm sitting here amazed that some people really think ole boy got a severely endangered, hasn't been seen in the wild and feared extinct, Ivory Billed Woodpecker in his living room.

My brother saw one off oneal lane in Baton Rouge a few years ago. He came flying inside talking about a huge woodpecker and we all laughed at him.

How did I know some redneck in the woods didn't find one and keep it as a pet? Rednecks love keeping wild animals.

HEY! I'm not a redneck. I threw my Yeti sticker away.

Jerome wouldn't let me take a pic. as soon as I pulled out the camera he flew off and hid somewhere.

Damn would love to get him but no time. We had a blue and gold and green winged macaw that we sold last year. Between two inside dogs and two birds that needed constant attention and work just didnt have the proper time to give them. They were really cool birds though. I always wanted a hyacinth. Breeders sell those things for 7-10k
