I just had a great experience getting new glasses from the Target on Siegen. I recommend them highly.

Bad experience at Eyemax in Towne Centre.

Go to one out of town so somebody you know doesn't see you.

Dr. Shameka Jackson does my eye exams. She is pretty decent. She also is a Deli Server and the Car Center Specialist.

Really? That is awesome.

Walmart is fine, unless you have astigmatism

It really is amazing how people on this board talk about things like an expert when they really don't have a fricking clue about the subject they're talking about.

Hey man you really have to watch out for that stuff. I had a family member die with astigmatism

Go see Dr. Surratt at the Port Allen Wal Mart. Excellent dr! There are MANY people who travel to see him, from out of town/state.

I used to go to optometrists, but I ran into two different ones who put the hard sell on, like fricking Amway or something, to buy glasses or contacts from them. Ease off, brother.

I've since gone to an opthamologist and not had that issue.

Going to Walmart is what I do. I know quite a few working professionala that go there in lieu of a doctor's visit.

You are right about the machines. The entire process is done with vision optical technology.

Just prepare for a spray to the eyes, a flash, and weird alphabet.

I've been going to the one in Prairieville for years to have a regular vision check. It's always been good and it's so convenient. I make an appt. in the morning for the same afternoon and also get my glasses from them. I have no problem with it.It's just an optometrist with an office inside of Walmart
