Preface: I know this sounds like a brag, and honestly, the first couple of weeks or so it would have been but starting to be a nuisance

So, I started taking Zoloft about a month ago and there seems to be a side effect that is becoming a bit of a problem. Im lasting a super long time in the bedroom and its starting to get annoying. My ol lady (no pics, ya degenerates) has been really supportive but after a while we are both just ready for me to finish up and get some sleep. Any of you guys had this problem with anti depressants? Any advice (non butthole related) to arrive to my destination a bit quicker?

Been on it for some years now due to PTSD.

The super long in the bedroom is definitely a side effect. There are days where i can’t even get myself off. Now, I’m the world of being a single man, the stamina is pretty great cause you can frick like an adult movie star as hard as you want.

Past that, not much else changes lol

Same....you can try some different RX that might have less of an impact if youd like, but you learn to adapt.

Stop taking the meds and internalize your feelings like a man.

What you’re on is for? My pts tend to do better with Buspar after that specific complaint.

Get a hobby or readjust your life on a desired path instead of taking a pill.

Common side effect of SSRIs. Sometimes they're even prescribed for premature ejaculation. Talk to your doctor about switching to or adding wellbutrin to your med regimen to counter your delayed orgasm. If you have significant anxiety, wellbutrin may worsen it temporarily, but it usually passes.

Unfortunately it’s a side effect. Makes it harder to rub one out too. I have to save some up sometimes

Tried that but i enjoy spending time with my family more than being a ball of rage, anger and pure unadulterated hate. I also enjoy sleeping in my own house and in my warm bed which was at risk unless i took immediate actions to begin rectifying my issues. Thank you for the advice though.

Yup, it was really bad with Zoloft. Not on any SSRIs now but my advice would be to pregame if possible otherwise you're in for a bad time.

ask your provider about Wellbutrin. It's a cousin of SSRI called an SSNI. It doesn't have the very common SSRI symptom that you described.

So, your solution is a literal OT circle jerk?

Investigate psychedelic therapies, specifically psylosibin,,,,,the recent research is excellent for PTSD associated depression and you can get off of big pharma poison
