Does it look like 10 is going to remain stable and open, or should I bring a change of clothes in case 12 stays closed and they shut down 10, also?

I understand. Just didn't know if there was any insight as to what 10 may end looking like by the evening.

I think Waze is giving out commissions on the OT or something. I downloaded it yesterday and it was a mess. One person saying road was open and two saying it wasn't. I deleted.

You realize the water rises and falls rather quickly right?

Waze is good because it allows users to update it, if you don't interact with it and give updates continue waiting like everyone else for the news to update you at 6pm.

Things change pretty quickly during floods. Waze has been doing a pretty good job of things, imo. Hell, dotd was giving out incorrect info yesterday at times

Go to New Orleans cone up 10 and finish on Aurline Hwy just before 10 closes. Airline is heavy though.

OP, you are going to have a hard time getting to BR today. 12 is close and 10 is closed. Based on the other thread Airline is a shite show and water is still rising there. Unless there's something you absolutely have to do, you're better off staying put today.

WAFB is reporting Airline is closed for a portion coming into BR. Here's the detour:

quote:

US 61 (Airline Highway) North and South are closed between Highland Road and Antioch Road due to water on the roadway. Traffic is being diverted on US 61 North to LA 948 (the highland extension) to LA 73 (Jefferson Highway) to Antioch Road and back to US 61 North.

Yeah, it's a work thing. The NOLA branch is on me to check on the BR buildings.

Specifically, we've got some material and equipment in Denham Springs.

Looks like that's gonna be a no-go.

Thanks fellas.
