What's the average age of members? A buddy of mine just joined BRCC and basically said its like a retirement home there. I'm currently at Uclub but seeking a change as the amenities no longer cater to the member.

It's more than likely similar aged folks, but probably a slightly lower average age

Definitely a little older than UClub, although the houses are pricier, so that's understandable. "Retirement Home" is a little bit of an overstatement, however. I'd say the average homeowner is around 55 either with empty nests or high school-aged kids.

Care to shed more light on your issues with UClub?

All of them are a little too "diverse" for my tastes.

I'm so glad I moved to New England.

I worked there for a couple of years. 2004-2008 actually. You needed a recommendation from a current member in order to be invited to join.

Old people.

I like Uclub's layout better then BRCC but BRCC is typically in better shape. Uclub is stupid hard too.

CCL is the goat BR course though.

No issues really. Love the golf course. It could use a nicer clubhouse, 19th hole etc. I know they have plans in place for renovations so they are moving in the right direction. Just exploring other options.

I like all 3 golf courses for different reasons but if I were joining one, I would probably pick BRCC. I love the location and there's something different about the atmosphere there.

It's like stepping back in time.

Considering the options in BR that's like being the flat tire with the most air in it.

I've heard this. But when Uclub is looking good in the spring... it is immaculate.

BRCC- if you want to hang out with old money BR die hards with really nice tickets in Tiger Stadium

CCLA- If you want to hang out with the guy who made bunch of money selling Relief Windows or life insurance

UCLUB- If you want to hang out with successful young engineer who either married into money or inherit because their dad owns a car dealership.
