We get paid every other Tuesday and so our next third check month isn’t until August - I do like another poster said and budget like I get paid twice so those two months a year it definitely feels like a bonus. It’s amazing how often something breaks when that checks comes in though.

Technically this is true. They are -- however -- required to pay you for time. There are these laws that say so.

Nope, I am bimonthly.

Months like these I get frigged, because I go 3 weekends without a paycheck.

If you’re salary it doesn’t really matter.

I did get the third because payroll is bi-weekly. The bigger deal for me is next month when my 26.3% bump hits.

The only thing nicer will be when my youngest graduates high school and child support ends.

3 checks as well but today is a bit more (we pay insurance premiums twice per month) nice to have an extra 300 I wasn’t expecting.

I am salary so it does not matter to me. I get paid weekly. We have savings so frequency does not matter at all.

Depending on the day you get paid, 2024 has 27 pay periods instead of 26. So three months with three checks.

Because baby tac makes shite for money and pretends to be rich on here.

I assume he doesn't know what a progressive tax system is, which a lot on this site seem to not know about either

My company uses electronic bank transfer instead of handing out paper checks. Very efficient.

Well that's what I was getting at because I've always heard these stories from blue collar guys that they get a raise and suddenly their take home amount is less due to a higher tax bracket and it's complete bullshite. That's not how it works.

Going to look into it on Monday. Higher tax bracket maybe, but sure as shite…3% raise equated to around $150 less per paycheck.
