Answer a question about darts

When playing 500 and you bust on your 1st dart you revert back to your score do you continue to throw the 2nd and 3rd dart or lose your turn?

i hit trip 20's on the reg which'll knock that 501 score down big time...my kill # is double 16. i will have the occasional bed n breakfast though.
