Do people realize they can just not add sweetener to everything?

It’s pretty much in everything, you have to get used to not having it.

Something I gave up a while ago was ketchup. It’s loaded with sugar and I used to put that shite on everything.

Also the sweet helps balancing out other flavors so you will prob have to give up some stuff completely. I’m not about to start using dates in baking as a sweetener.

Did you read the article? It wasn’t talking about Stevia but erythitol.

Yeah stevia is fine it even mentions the drops. The erythitol is what gives it the crystalline look like sugar that’s used for like baking.

What's wrong with Splenda?
Nothing, however I recommend everything in moderation.

Raw sugar from the mill is all I've used for more than 20 years. It's high in iron and minerals and won't kill you

Who would have thought that Aspartame was the safest artificial sweetener available?

And since erythritol is not in Zevia soda, my occasional soda is safe. For now.

Not going to read, but I assume this is about erythritol and not actually stevia. Erythritol has been known to be bad for a while (I think.) It can be included in the healthier substitutes, but you can still get them without it.

When you substitute sugar for things like sucralose etc all you are doing is trading diabetes for cancer or leukemia.

In my case it was heart palpitations from the Sucralose (Splenda) in protein powders… do you know how hard it is to find a flavored protein powder without artificial sweeteners?!

OP is stupid. Stevia isn’t bad and doesn’t kill you. The article says that the erythritol is added in bulk to stevia which is then called truvia. Stevia itself is not bad. Moron

I use the raw brown sugar also. Great in coffee or tea.

Monk fruit is by far the best sweetener

A sugar replacement called erythritol – used to add bulk or sweeten stevia, monkfruit and keto reduced-sugar products – has been linked to blood clotting, stroke, heart attack and death, according to a new study.

Erythritol isn’t in the big bag of Great Value Stevia I use, but it is in the individual packets. Weird

Luckily most of these taste so horrible it’s difficult to consume them anyway.

Is there any sweetener that any one knows that is not toxic right now.

Honey in moderation. It goes in my coffee and my tea. That’s all I ever use anymore at home.
