I carry a gun in my car wherever I go. Hell, half of my coworkers bring guns to work too. When we finish up our shifts we’ll go out to our cars and compare each other’s guns. It’s the American Way .

The stock will be fine. If they run out of whistelblowers to kill, they'll start another war.

Absolutely. I always have one gun on my body and sometimes a long gun in my truck.

Assume EVERYONE you come across on a daily basis is packing heat.

Your laughing emoji is why I know it bothers you. I didn’t say anything funny. And no one believes you found it funny. You didn’t like what I said so you posted that in a mocking manner. We mock the things we don’t like. So, again, it’s weird that something I chose to do, something that doesn’t affect you in any way, bothers you.

I'm sorry, are you suggesting that people should be allowed to be armed on airplanes?

No. I'm suggesting that traveling by car is a superior way to travel domestically. You don't have TSA checkpoints on the interstate.

Or maybe this stuff happens regularly, but the media is latching onto every airline story like the leaches they are

No one is reporting Airbus mechanical issues in flight.

I assume that mechanical issues in flight are not that uncommon.

Aren’t most of these plans easily 10+ years old? Why is Boeing getting the blame?

Just trendy “DEI har har har” stuff?

Make light of the situation if you'd like, but I will always have a way to defend myself.

I have a plate carrier with level IV plates, but it isn't going to the donut or coffee shop. It stays with my "frick You" gear in my office ready to go if called upon.

So Boeing is responsible for blown tires now? Ridiculous “news” article.

Im sorry you lack the mental capacity to see life from a different perspective than your own. I guess you let your husband do the driving when you travel. Some of us genuinely enjoy long road trips as opposed to the mental and physical torture that air travel has become since the pandemic.

Like I alluded to earleir, if they can revive the quality of air travel and reestablish trust in the air transportation system in this county, I’ll absolutely resume flying. Yr as it stands today, unless I’m having to cross an ocean, I’m driving. But, again as I said earlier, my situation is different than others. My company gives me a vehicle allowance, fuel card, and I get paid mileage. When you do the math, it makes absolute sense for me to drive whenever possible.

But, like I said, you do you.

Jesus people. All airlines have planes make emergency returns back to airports. It just not in the news if it’s not Boeing or United. These emergencies are almost nothing more than a warning light.

You call me a clown, I call it an insurance policy. You do you guy.

I'm not going to sit around hoping the thin blue line shows up. I'll defend myself and quite well.
