Devin Pelham was none too happy when he saw a Comcast worker in his bedroom replacing a modem last week. Pelham later told police that he gave no one else permission to enter his room.
Pelham started slamming computer parts and throwing other objects, according to court papers. He slapped his grandmother and pushed her to the ground, a probable cause affidavit said.

The grandmother told Pelham, 23, to leave her North Portland home. He did — and then began throwing potted plants and breaking her car windows, the affidavit said.

Pelham then turned his attention to the car of his great-grandmother, the affidavit said. When, the 75-year-old woman tried to stop him, Pelham punched her in the back and pushed her down, the affidavit said.

A neighbor helped the great-grandmother away from the scene, only to then watch Pelham use a brick, wine bottles and a 2x4 wood plank to damage two of his cars, the affidavit said. One car had scratches all over, a side mirror broken off and the windshield smashed.

Pelham also damaged the windshield wipers of two other vehicles that belonged to other neighbors, the affidavit said.

When police arrived to the 5900 block of North Gay Avenue, they found Pelham shirtless, shoeless and with a brick in his hand, the affidavit said. He soon calmed down and told the officers that he realized his actions were "inappropriate."
