Good of them to offer this help. Still won't buy their crappy beer, though.

The Anheuser-Busch Brewery stopped canning beer this week to can drinking water to ship to areas hard hit by Hurricane Harvey.

A spokesperson for Anheuser-Busch said more than 50,000 cans of emergency drinking water were packed up to be sent to Baton Rouge and on to families who may not have safe drinking water in the storm's aftermath.

The water will be used at Red Cross shelters and distributed by volunteers.

Don't they do this for most disasters. I know my dad had some cans of water from them from a hurricane a few years back.

I'm sure all the Red Cross offices will be sipping on these for the next 6 months.

Article was talking about their brewery in Cartersville, GA doing this. Makes sense to send it from Georgia to BR as a staging area to be sent to Houston with other relief supplies

Bud and Bud Light are terrible.

hey also lie about changing the formula. Bud tastes nothing like it used to. It used to be a rather hoppy pils with a good head and some bitterness in the taste. Bud now tastes sweet, has no head whatsoever soon after pouring. Bud and Bud Light are designed to drink in gulps from the bottle COLD. That's the only way to drink one. That's how they are designed.

I remember getting handed some when I was gutting a house in Livingston after the floods. Was a little disappointed when I realized they were handing me water and not beer. Awesome for them to do it though.
